Also known as hermetic header terminals, these non-insulated terminals are designed with a larger distance between the rolls to allow for the rod in hermetic header applications. The increased distance allows the rod to slip in between them. Parts 6258 and 6259 are notched for bending. The notches are cut between the slip-on portion and the conductor barrel and enable the back of the slip-on portion to be folded against the conductor barrel after the wire connection is made. This terminal features insulation grip.
