Spring 2024

  • Zane Warner

    Ferris State University

I stumbled upon HVAC when I was doing research about becoming a plumber. HVAC showed me that I could do more than plumbing and still get the experiences I wanted. Thank you so much for this scholarship, I greatly appreciate it and it will help me out immensely!

  • James Witham

    Mott Community College

When searching for a career, I found that the HVAC-R industry offers fulfillment and joy, and the service you lend to people is valuable and appreciated. I know that however far I go in my education, it will transfer to the HVAC-R industry and make a difference in people's homes and small businesses.

  • William Staples

    Ferris State University

HVAC is an amazing industry and I am very glad to be a part of it. My hope is to bring the younger generation along with all the skills I have learned and gained. One day I have hopes to become an instructor, and I'm pursuing a degree to become a mechanical superintendent, sales engineer, or an entrepreneur.

  • Daniel Cross

    Oakland Community College

It's great to work with your hands and you really feel like you've accomplished something at the end of the day. I'd recommend studying in the trades to anyone, it has a much greater sense of accomplishment than a job where you just sit on the computer all day.

  • Jonathan Dean

    Kalamazoo Valley Community College

I want to pursue a career in HVAC because I enjoy the hands-on environment, and it will help me become well-rounded in the other trades throughout my life.

  • Sean Chesney

    Mott Community College

All of my family is in the trades but somehow it originally never once crossed my mind as a career choice. Less and less people every year are joining the trades and it’s our responsibility as the younger generations to join! There is nothing more satisfying that a hard days work and a dollar earned.

  • Sean Sauer

    Ferris State University

I look forward to the challenges ahead of me and am glad to leave some behind. I can’t tell you enough how much this will help me out. My new goal is to become an engineer like my grandfather, and I will do my best to become as successful and as highly respected as he was.

  • Braylon Kidston

    Ferris State University

I will be pursuing the HVAC field due to the opportunity and demand for the trade. I would like to learn the trade the next couple of years and then start my own business in HVAC. Thank you for the scholarship, this is much appreciated and will help me reach my goals!

  • Julius Jackson

    Mott Community College

I am striving for a career in HVAC because I have found a passion for it, and making people’s everyday lives comfortable is satisfying for me. I'm happy to put my knowledge and skills to good use!

  • Dylan McRae

    Ferris State University

I am passionate about HVAC because it combines my interests in technology and sustainability. I want to be part of an industry that improves energy efficiency and ensures comfortable living and working environments. This scholarship enables me to focus on my studies and achieve my career goals.
